Brief Course Description:This course is designed to introduce nursing students to the research process, with emphasis on the development of a research problem statement. Quantitative and qualitative research problems and methods or approaches will be discussed. Evaluation and utilization of nursing research is considered in the context of professional nursing with a Christian Perspective


This course introduces the basic conceptsof learning in order for the student to be aware of own and individual learning process. Students will identify and apply strategies to facilitate the learning of others in various health settings. The course merges theory with practical teaching and learning principles enabling learning to take place through participation in class discussion, micro-teaching and clinical activities such as health education.

Course designed to promote life long learning in area of interest in order to enhance professional growth and intellectual discpline.

Student will assess their own learning and develop objectives that will help meet that need.

Student will select a learning and evaluation plan for practicum experience.

This course introduces the nursing student to theknowledge and skills required in intergrating technology in his/her day-to-day work. It builds onknowledge and skills acquired in the basic computing class.
